What is the eligibility criteria

All professional engineers/ architects involved in highway / bridge engineering, conforming to the level/ status of operations as given in the Training Calendar are eligible.

Who are faculty members?

Eminent engineering professionals and administrators (in case of management courses) are the faculty members.

What is the fee structure for the Courses ?

Who is the Chief Executive of the Institute ?

he Director is the Chief Executive of IAHE for all purposes.

How to forward Nominations ?

In case of serving engineers from Central / State PWDs, Border Roads Organization and M/o SRT&H, nominations would need to be forwarded by their respective CE/SEs. For all other candidates Nomination Form, duly filled, along with Demand Draft for course fee - as applicable, may be forwarded to The Director, IAHE.

What are the Boarding & Lodging Charges ?

Boarding and Lodging is not chargeble for the participants nominated from Central / State PWDs, Border Roads Organization and M/o SRT&H, NHAI, in Training Calendar Programme.

What are the courses being conducted at IAHE?

The courses being conducted at IAHE can be broadly classified as calendar training programme and sponsored training programmes. A detailed list of the courses being conducted at IAHE, along with dates, course fees and level of participants is given in the Training Calendar.

What are the eligibility criteria?

All professional engineers/ architects involved in highway / bridge engineering, conforming to the level or equivalent as given in the Training Calendar are eligible to attend calendar training programmes. The officers nominated by a particular organisation sponsoring training programme can attend a training programme. There may be some specific training programmes sponsored by MoRTH open to participants from different organisations. Details of such training programmes whenever organised will be published separately on IAHE website under What’s New and Training Management.

Who are faculty members?

1.Serving/Retd. Officers of MORTH, CPWD, Railways, DMRC, NHAI, CRRI, BRO, RITES, IRCON, State PWDs, etc. 2.Serving/Retd. Faculty from IITs, NITs, SPA, IIPA, etc. 3.Experts from Consultants 4.Experts from Contractors 5.Experts from equipment/materials manufactures 6.International experts from RMIT, TRL, MOT Ontario, ARRB, AIT, JICA, IRF, KEC, etc.

What is the fee structure for the Courses?

a) Calendar training programme including lodging and boarding is free for the participants nominated by Central and State Govt. departments, PSUs, Authorities, Corporations, Local bodies, Educational institutions, etc. IAHE also reimburses to and fro travelling expenses of such nominated officers. Expenses on these programmes are reimbursed to IAHE by MoRTH. Participants from private organisations and participants in individual capacity are required to pay Indian Rupees 5000 per day per participant basis along with applicable GST on the same. This fee includes lodging and boarding charges but not the travelling expenses. b) Organisations (Government as well as Private) sponsoring training programmes conducted by IAHE are required to pay Rs.5000 per day per participant along with applicable GST in respect of programmes conducted in IAHE campus. Organisations (Government as well as Private) sponsoring training programmes conducted by IAHE outside IAHE campus are required to arrange venue with audio-visual and training equipment, lunch, tea/coffee, accommodation and local transport for faculty and organisers besides paying IAHE course fee to be decided on case to case basis depending upon number of participants, course structure, location, etc.

Who is the Executive Head of the Institute?

The Director shall be the Executive Head of IAHE Society and shall be guided by the Governing Body in his work. He will have full powers in the day to day running of IAHE Society and will be reporting direct to the Governing Body.

How to forward nominations by Central and State Govt. Departments, PSUs, Authorities, Corporations, Local bodies, Educational institutions, etc. for calendar training programmes?

Department concerned will forward nomination letter to Director, IAHE through email on iahe.training@gmail.com indicating the name, designation, email ID, Mobile no. of the concerned officers. Department will also direct the concerned officers to apply online on IAHE website

How to forward nominations by private organisations for calendar training programmes in IAHE campus?

Organisation concerned will forward nomination letter to Director, IAHE through email on iahe.training@gmail.com indicating the name, position, email ID, Mobile no. of the concerned officers. Organisation will also direct the concerned officers to apply online on IAHE website and pay requite course fee separately for each officer through online payment gateway .

How an individual can apply for calendar training programmes in IAHE campus?
